Hydraulic Ram transports water from its source to a settlement. Because it makes use of the inherent force of falling or moving water, a hydram requires no other energy source to function. Fluid is transported by an external pump that is powered by an external power source in hydraulic devices. Hydraulic Ram operates by simultaneously pumping external fluid into either side of a cylinder; depending on the load being moved, this generates a high-pressure and low-pressure side within the cylinder.
